The worst detour I can remember happened when I was driving on an interstate in PA, and because of a chemical spill, I was forced to take an exit that wasn’t even on my map. Cars, RV’s, vans, and trucks were everywhere; traffic was gridlocked and we literally crawled for hours. The normal hour-and-half trip took close to five. Sometimes it’s very difficult to accept it when our life gets detoured from the path we have carefully mapped out. This can happen when our kids make choices opposite of what we think is best for them, or when a company closes its doors and we are forced to start over with a new one, or when we are facing an unfavorable medical report. All of these can completely throw us off course. How do you handle detours in life? We’d like to help. Give us a call. Comment here.
