Sometimes it seems the demands that drivers face each and every day are worlds apart from the demands that their spouses handle at home. If not managed well by both partners, these “separate” paths could easily tear the marriage apart. While you’re out on the road, life at home is full of appointments, deadlines, bills, family issues, little league games and sometimes problems. Find a way to communicate about these issues as they come. Remember, if something falls apart, it’s probably not the desire of your spouse for this to happen, so don’t blame them. Work through problems together and remember your promise regarding “for better or worse”. Don’t let it tear your marriage apart. Comment here.
