Recently, as I listened to a discussion between a man and his wife, I thought about the makeup of men and women. Men are naturally right-brained. Distinctions of being right-brained are remembering things we see and do, as well as putting bits of information together to understand the big picture. Women on the other hand are primarily left-brained. Some of those traits are understanding and using language (listening, reading, speaking and writing), a memory for spoken and written messages, and a detailed analysis of all the information.
Now that you know this, what should you do with it? How about using that knowledge to help you communicate effectively in your marriage? Sometimes, there are exceptions to these traits. So, get to know how your spouse thinks. Then, learn to communicate to her using the way she thinks. You won’t regret it. Comment here.
