Prevention’s Worth It

When recovering from addiction, taking action must be approached carefully and thoroughly. Take time to reflect on previous experiences you’ve had that “lead” you to addiction. This will help you realize what went right and what went wrong. Then talk through each and every possible situation that might tempt you to use your addiction again. Listen to the responses of those who are helping you as they will most likely see your stressor points. Then clarify and solidify how you are going to act next time you encounter that scenario. Develop steps that will help you avoid the stressors. While all of this takes time, the results will be worth it. Call us if you want some help. Comment here.
