It’s time for the baseball trade deadline and for football players to report to their training camps. Along with this, there seems to be an all too familiar ring in the air which revolves around the all-mighty dollar. Some players want a minimum of one million dollars for the 2010 season, or they won’t play. Some have even threatened to sit out the first ten games of the football season if they don’t get what they want, and have been quoted as saying they are “so angry” for not being rewarded as they think they should be. First of all, the amount these players make is baffling, and secondly, many of them seem to be extremely self-centered. What would happen if truckers acted this way? What is the center of your focus? Do you feel you are worth more than you receive? Let us know what you think our focus should be. Comment here.
