Avoid the Crash of Divorce

We have all probably seen the effects of a crash with multiple vehicles involved. What started with one driver’s mistake began a chain reaction that resulted in many other innocent people getting hurt. Maybe you’ve actually experienced this yourself. Whether you are on the beginning or receiving end, these situations are no fun at all. Divorce is the same way. What starts with you or your spouse starts a chain reaction that results in your children being crushed. If you’re a divorced parent, you already know what I mean. As a parent, there’s nothing worse than not watching your kids grow up without you. The effects of the “accident” doesn’t stop there though; there are immediate and distant family members, friends, loved ones and many others who may also get hurt. Just as there are things you can do to reduce your chances of being involved in a crash on the road, there are things you can do to avoid crashing into a divorce. Find out how to divorce proof your marriage today. Comment here.

It’s the Little Things

Have you ever heard the expression “Where there’s smoke, there’s fire?”  In the trucking industry, there are many opportunities to flirt with co-workers, waitresses, and other drivers that we meet.  Sometimes, what started as something very simple and innocent, turns into more and you can get caught up into something that hurts your spouse.  You could end up facing a divorce as a result. May I encourage you to avoid this situation?  How would you feel if someone else flirted with your spouse the same way you are doing? In fact, why don’t you call your spouse and flirt with them.  They will appreciate it and your marriage will be the better for it. Comment here.

Not Worth the Price

While traveling up and down our highways, you can’t help but notice all the billboards that promote sex with anyone or anything other than our spouse. There are adult book stores, peep shows, “gentlemen’s clubs”, strip joints and everywhere you turn signs that say “Girls, Girls, Girls!” Did you ever notice any billboards that promote remaining faithful to your spouse? Yet the cost of this kind of carelessness in a marriage can be devastating. Most of the time, the price is divorce. When we are away from our mates, we must pay special attention to our feelings, thoughts and behavior. We must guard our hearts and our marriages. Don’t fall prey to the solicitation offered. In reality, it won’t satisfy you and could destroy your marriage. Contact us if you need help. Comment here.
